I've created this journal as a place to talk about my life. Personal posts are friends-only; ceramic posts are public. I haven't put up a ceramics post in over a year, but will be adding more this winter (2018) as I'm putting a new studio together.

I have several professions:

• I'm an IT project management consultant. I have a few clients including two universities and a small woman-owned and run web development company. The latter is my favorite!


• I do a number of part-time jobs to make extra money for travel and whatnot. Mainly I do petsitting and housesitting for a few folks on a semi-regular basis.


• I sing in a rock and roll band called Rock Nine. We are a mostly classic rock cover band but I squeeze in an alternative song as often as I can get one past the guys. I'm in my 3rd year of singing in the band and I love it! I'm also taking piano lessons.</i>
  
• Artist. I am a ceramic artist.


• Jazzercise instructor. I became certified to teach Jazzercise in June 2011 and teach several classes each week. It's good fun and a great workout!


• I have a lot of tattoos. I love them. I started getting them in my 40s and I'm sure I'll get more as time goes on.

My passions: Traveling and meeting new people. The outdoors, my friends and family, music, art, flowers, animals, rivers, streams and lakes, frogs and dragonflies. Clay and making things out of it. Mountains, meadows and gray cloudy skies. I love food and working it off at Jazzercise.
